章百傢，1948年1月生。先後就讀於北京大學曆史係、中國社會科學院研究生院近代史係，獲碩士學位。現任中央黨史研究室副主任、研究員；兼任北京大學曆史係、中國人民大學黨史係教授、中國社會科學院近代史所學術委員會委員。長期從事中史、中國近代史和中國外交史研究，近年主治改革開放史。主要代錶作有《對重慶談判一些問題的探討》、《改變自己，影響世界——20世紀中國外交基本綫索芻議》、《冷戰與中國》、《中國改革開放30年》等。
