　　《機械設計製造及其自動化專業英語（第三版）/高等學校教材》共分為三部分（Part），30個單元（Unit）。第一部分為機械設計與製造的基本知識，包括金屬材料、非金屬材料、材料的機械性能、材料力學、金屬材料熱處理、機械及機械零件設計、製造工藝、加工設備、模具設計與製造、數控機床、液壓係統、熱力學、流體力學、化工機器、質量保證與控製等。第二部分為自動控製的基本知識，其中包括控製原理、控製係統類型、反饋控製原理、過程控製、測量係統、傳感器及信號轉換、係統狀態監測等。第三部分為現代先進製造技術，主要介紹機電一體化、計算機數控、機器人、計算機輔助製造、柔性製造係統、計算機集成製造、自動組裝、敏捷製造、精益製造、大批量定製生産、虛擬製造、綠色産品製造等。

作者簡介

馬玉錄，華東理工大學，教授，　　1982年畢業於華東化工學院(現華東理工大學)化工機械專業，畢業後留校任教至今。91.1~93.3美國The Ohio State University訪問學者， 97. 7~98.7瑞典Swedish Institute for Fiber and Polymer Research訪問學者。曾先後擔任化工機械係副係主任，材料行為研究室主任，化工機械研究所副所長，學校科技處副處長、人事處處長等職。2000年被列入教育部“高等學校骨乾教師資助計劃”，2003年獲教育部全國高等學校優秀骨乾教師奬勵。現任華東理工大學副校長、機械與動力工程學院過程設備材料與加工研究室主任。
近年來，主要從事新型高分子復閤材料成型工藝研究及非金屬材料在化工機械及設備上的應用研究。先後主持和完成瞭國傢自然科學基金、上海市科學技術基金、中石化科研開發項目等40多項縱嚮和橫嚮科研項目。發錶學術論文40餘篇，申請發明專利4項 （已授權1項）。主編《機械設計製造及其自動化專業英語》教材，參編《化工機械工程手冊》等。長期擔任本科生“科技英語”和研究生“現代工程材料”教學任務，教學效果良好。
