There he helps an opera singer to sing again, and makes a sad king laugh, but he causes such a commotion that he is fired. The manager then finds Buzby a job that uses his talent for making people happy--he becomes the doorman, taking care of the hotel's guests. Himmelman's softly brushed illustrations complement the text and keep readers engaged.
