作者简介

Hugh Honour is one of the leading art historians of the 20th century. He is co-author with Nikolaus Pevsner and John Fleming of The Penguin Dictionary of Architecture.

John Fleming founded and edited with Hugh Honour the Pelican Style and Civilization series. He died on 29 May 2001.

收到这本书的第一感觉就是厚，草草的翻了一下，觉得没有决心读完，如果只是为了解艺术的发展，那么没必要买真的厚一本书，除非你对艺术有浓厚的兴趣！

书本身很好，通俗易懂，娓娓道来。对喜欢艺术的人来说，闲暇时看看是种享受，还能增进对艺术的理解。但是，收货时发现书角有变形，怕麻烦就不换了，但多少还是有些不爽。几乎在半价的时候买的，性价比很高，选择豪华版是因为最接近外文原版，品质应该相对好些。
