插画家、漫画家。擅长用水彩颜料绘制女孩形象，为很多书籍绘制过封面和内文插图。
2005年开始在自主创办的漫画展中创作作品展出，2008年开始进入商业插图领域，代表作品有《不可思议的镜子》系列（讲谈社）、《樱花色的季节》（蒲蒲兰出版社）等。
与画材品牌荷尔拜因（Holbein）合作的《荷尔拜因× 友风子 透明水彩颜料12色套装》、《涂色水彩画BOOK》进入市场销售。
