"These series entries have colorful illustrations and very simple, repetitive texts. In Tapping Tale, a child goes on her first sleepover and hears a noise in the night that turns out to be her friend's dog's tail. The illustrations are bright and appealing, but the story seems incomplete. The second title is more satisfying, although the theme is a bit tired. Framed cartoon illustrations leave clues that Gil, an ant, is mistaken in thinking that his friends have forgotten his birthday. His dejection is cleverly shown by his drooping antennae and his elation clearly depicted at the surprise party given in his honor. Additional at best."

在京东购买 green light readers的人不多，可能是因为它比起step into reading系列和i can read系列的初级都要简单，比较低幼，所以大家倾向购买故事性更强一些的，但我觉得它虽简单，但有自己的独特处，就是它封底附有有趣的activity，令孩子在欣赏故事的同时，也可以进行有趣的实践活动，真正的寓教于乐。
