作者簡介

C. S. Lewis (Clive Staples Lewis, 1898-1963) was one of the intellectual giants of the twentieth century and arguably one of the most influential writers of his day. He was a Fellow and Tutor in English Literature at Oxford University until 1954, when he was unanimously elected to the Chair of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University, a position he held until his retirement. He wrote more than thirty books, allowing him to reach a vast audience, and his works continue to attract thousands of new readers every year. His most distinguished and popular accomplishments include Mere Christianity, Out of the Silent Planet, The Great Divorce, The Screwtape Letters, and the universally acknowledged classics The Chronicles of Narnia. To date, the Narnia books have sold over 100 million copies and been transformed into three major motion pictures.

不會從讀書中找到樂趣和價值，也是一個不爭的事實。古人讀書，大多搖頭晃腦，樂此不疲；今人讀書，大多愁眉苦臉，見書生厭。古今之人讀書時的心境為何會有如此的差異？不可否認的原因之一，就是當今快節奏的生活讓人無法靜下心來好好讀書，久而久之，看到書就心煩氣躁。我認為，這不是齣現問題的根本原因，齣現問題的根本原因是，我們這批新新人類的心境齣瞭問題。

這是不錯的一本書，適閤孩子看。這個價格很優惠瞭，就是一本拿著有點不方便。不過單本的太貴啦。

古人說得好，“君子疾沒世而名不稱，不患年不長也。”意思是說，有德行的人隻怕自己沒有一個為人稱道的好名聲，而不怕自己活不長。可見，古人把名聲看得比自己的生命還重要。作為教師，更要隨時隨地都應注重自己的道德修養，都應該以良好的品行、人格、氣質、情趣來塑造自己，完善自己。
