Agatha Christie was born in 1890 and created the detective Hercule Poirot in her debut novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles (1920). She achieved wide popularity with The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (1926) and produced a total of eighty novels and short-story collections over six decades.

一直想買這本書的原版，收到瞭，各方麵都還滿意的一次購物體驗。

等瞭很久纔去買的，看瞭很多人的推薦，故事本身很好看，說的是一個專門為黑人打官司的律師的故事，本書是以他女兒口吻寫的，以當時應該是六十年代為背景寫的芝加哥南部地區一個律師同時也是單親父親如何教育自己的子女正直，寬容，溫暖的成長。很值得看得書，我已經讀瞭大半本
