除此之外，作者还是一位漫画爱好者，所以他能够用妙趣横生的简笔漫画更加准确地表达自己的思想与知识。比如在讲述人类可以扔出棒球的高度时，他没有直接给出枯燥的数字，而是画了一只高为5米的长颈鹿，然后告诉你，平常人至少能把棒球扔到3只长颈鹿这么高，臂力不错的人大概可以扔到5只长颈鹿这么高……于是，在一幅幅可爱的小漫画中，人们很轻松地记住了普通人扔出棒球的高度是15米，而臂力不错的则可以达到25米。
