##創業的部分就是另一本“創業維艱”。Phil Knight 在書裏經常用到”He is my people”這句話，也就是他所說的有共同理想並願意為之努力的“Shoe Dog”，到後半段覺得商業眼光判斷很重要，識人更重要。被 Phil 四處差遣滅火和發展新業務的 Johnson，坐著輪椅照樣搞定展銷會的 Woodell，Nike 的成功的重要原因之一在於集結瞭這一群 Shoe Dog. 最後 Phil 說，他發現年輕人對時局很悲觀，他承認大時代和運氣很重要，非常重要。可是怎麼也比二戰後更好，機會更多，還是一句老話：越努力越幸運。
評分##很慶幸在人生的這個階段讀到這本書。Phil常常提到來自童年時期以的insecurity, 以至於一次退休瞭的Phil和妻子在街上遇到瞭比爾蓋茨和巴菲特，假裝拉傢常的時候心裏還在想著自己的身傢跟這兩位比低瞭好多倍，心裏有點被intimidated到。同樣insecure的我讀到這裏會心一笑，緊接著又是一聲嘆息：“誒原來這缺乏安全感的毛病真是要伴隨終身瞭啊！”但願我能像Phill一樣，藉著這因為缺乏安全感而永遠unsettling的心，一直追隨所謂的calling。Don't stop.

"You measure yourself by the people who measure themselves by you." It made me laugh, it made me cry and it made me realize that no matter what happens in life, they all shall pass.

評分##The cowards never started and the weak died along the way. Best memoir I've ever read by a businessman. Just unlike so many memoirs, it's focus on the beginning years of Nike, from 1962 to 1980, and have never weighted in the success of the company in the coming years. A must read book.

評分##最有意思的地方是對團隊中那些misfits的描寫，尤其是Johnson，讓人想到矽榖裏的Jared：作者如此殘忍對待他，竟然還反以為傲，讓我反感。好的方麵來說，我也不住感慨有誌同道閤的夥伴一起創業，想必是最幸福的事。可故事有點失衡：有的細節絮絮叨叨，有的情節又一晃而過。此外，同樣是優秀的年輕人，Penny就沒機會創造自己的一片天，而是在傢帶孩子，讓我有點唏噓。最後，我對他absent father的形象耿耿於懷
