内容简介

Danny goes to the museum where his wish comes true - a friendly dinosaur comes to life and spends the day playing with him. As the dinosaur says, after one hundred million years, it's good to play outside! The two have a monstrously good time eating ice cream, going to a ball game, and playing hide-and-seek with Danny's friends. 作者简介

Syd Hoff was born and raised in New York City. He studied at the National Academy of Design and sold his first cartoon to The New Yorker when he was eighteen. He eventually became one of the most original and beloved authors and illustrators of children's books. Mr. Hoff wrote more than fifty books for children, including the I Can Read titles Danny and the Dinosaur, Oliver, and Sammy the Seal.

全英文，有趣，自己读起来容易理解，画面清晰。不过就几页一本书，略显小贵。

书都读得来的人，还怕有什么做不来的。成功的科学家往往是兴趣广泛的人，他们的独创精神来自他们的博学。作者不一定能写到老，但是他一定应该学到老。再高深的学问也是从字母学起的。写十卷书要比实际行动打下基础容易得多。
