Beall has a B.A. in music with a minor in education from Oregon State University and has taught elementary music in the Portland area. Beall lives in Oswego, Oregon.

Susan Hagen Nipp was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. As children, the Nipp and her two brotheres sang in the church choir, joined in trios and quartets, and played various instruments. Nipp studied piano and flute and was in her high school and college band, orchestra, and choir. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a minor in education from Whitworth College in Spokane. Upon graduation, she taught high school English in Washington and later, elementary school music in Oregon. Pam Beall and Susan Nipp met in 1972 while taking graduate music classes in Portland, Oregon, where they were elementary music teachers. Nipp and Beall created the Wee Sing Series in 1977, when they realized that while many people remember the first words of classic children's songs, most could not remember every word and note. In order to keep this music alive, the creators hand wrote a song book containing many old favorites. The authors invested $200 and distributed the books throughout the Pacific Northwest. Their immediate success helped pioneer a resurgence in traditional children's music and prompted expansion to audiocassettes. Two years and 20,000 copies later, their book was acquired by Price Stern Sloan, an imprint of Penguin Group, USA. In 1981, they addied audiocassettes to their established songbook collection. In 1985, another new sensation occurred as the first Wee Sing video was produced. Most of the videos were produced in Portland, Oregon, by Poulshock Productions. Wee Sing has been going strong for over 25 years with more than 60 titles having been created in different formats including songbooks, cassettes, CDs, coloring/activity books, toys, and videos. Over 50 million product items have been sold around the world.

好书啊,好书~~值得拥有

首先，快递很给力。虽然天气很寒冷但是头一天下的单，第二天一早就送到了，在这里要特别感谢送快递的师傅，由于前一天睡得比较晚，还没起床，所以让师傅在门口等了很久，尽管如此，态度仍然很好。其次，打完折后价钱也在能接受的范围内。早就想给宝贝买上一本原版书了。国内的许多类似书籍都是国人自己唱的，而且都是大人翻唱的，很少有外国友人唱的。本人不懂得英文，但是听上去都是外国宝宝唱的。很早就想买，可是在实体书店里卖的都很贵，所以一直没有舍得买。头两天在京东上看到这本书打完折后卖四十多块，自己还能接受，所以就马上买了一本。现在原版书都卖的贵着呢，四十多元一本的价钱还可以。Wee Sing系列的书本来想买一套来着，但是看到每本书上都有好多首儿歌，就先买了Nursery and Lullabies 这一本，其他的都存在我的关注里了，等着什么时候降价，或者折扣打得狠一点的时候再出手，关注中。另外，昨天，学外文的妹妹来到家里了，她听了CD里的两首歌，一开口就确定是原版的，而且她说是英式发音，这让我很高兴。书的质量也不错，印刷业很好，虽然薄薄的一本，但是拿在手里很有感觉，虽然本人基本上什么都看不懂。朋友推荐的Wee Sing这套书果然不赖。以后应该会买其他的几本。当然了，宝贝还小，也不知道他喜不喜欢听，想起来时就放上那么一两首。
