作者简介

Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his free time in that city's famous Hagenbeck Zoo drawing animals. After serving in the army during World War I, he studied philology and natural science at the University of Hamburg. He then married Margret Rey and they moved to Montmartre for four years. The manuscript for the first Curious George books was one of the few items the Reys carried with them on their bicycles when they escaped from Paris in 1940. Eventually, they made their way to the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941. Curious George has been published in many languages, including French, German, Japanese, Afrikaans, and Norwegian. Additional Curious George books followed, as well as such other favorites as CECILY G. AND THE NINE MONKEYS and FIND THE CONSTELLATIONS.

The story is rather long for young readers, and somewhat old-fashioned in writing style, but the entertainment value has not lessened despite its age. The book is newly released with an audio CD that contains two versions of the narrated story, one with page-turn signals and one without, which provides a new way for readers to enjoy a classic character in action. A useful addition to the early elementary classroom, whether it be on the bookshelf, as part of a listening center, or just to play aloud for the class as a group. 放在车里，宝宝在车里的时候放给宝宝听，这书的纸张很厚，没几页，我还没研究出书和cd有什么关联呢

我是从来不买盗版书的，这也是真正读书人应该具备的原则，但我也很少去一些综合性的大书店买书。太阳城里的“龙媒书店”我隔三差五就要去转一圈，那里主要经营的是文学类的书籍，书店虽然小但是文化氛围比较好，见到爱不释手的好书就急忙买下来。我还喜欢逛一些大学附近的小书店，无论走到那个地方，我首先想去的就是这个城市的书店，临近大学的更要去，因为那样的书店不乏青春的气息，在那里更容易找到有激情、有深度甚至是有些批判性质的书籍。

但是书只放在书橱上是一种形式，藏在内心里，藏在脑海中，然后运用于工作、生活才能称得上是真正的藏书。说白了藏书其实就是在储备知识与快乐，书应该是越读越薄的，把从书中得来的越来越多知识合理的释放出来，才是我们买书、读书、藏书的真实目的。
