它能净化人的心灵。每读到一本好书就像他乡遇故知、久旱遇甘霖一样，另人心旷神怡，

　　其实对于这种远古向往情怀，孔子也有类似特点。他口中的“大同社会”，对西周各种礼教的支持与赞同，不也是这种视角吗？变化来得太倡促或者太剧烈，他们未来得及适应或者看到汹涌后的平静，一厢情愿地遥望远方，不得不说有些臆想的味道。

　　波普尔笔下的柏拉图，崇尚历史主义，认为“变化时邪恶的，静止是神圣的”“变化着的看得见的世界仅仅是不变的看不见的世界的一种衰落摹本”，波普尔说这个想象出来的哲学信条推出了柏的历史主义理论。对“看不见”的原始最优社会的想象与憧憬，使柏拉图“看到万物都毫无目标地摇来摆去，我感到晕眩和绝望”。
