作者简介

　　乔治·奥威尔（George Orwell，1903年6月25日-1950年1月21日），英国著名小说家、记者和社会评论家。他毕业于伊顿公学，后来被派到缅甸任警察。20世纪30年代，他参加西班牙内战，回国后却又因被划入左派，不得不流亡法国。二战中，他在英国广播公司写报道。后来担任《论坛报》编辑，1945年辞职。1950年，死于困扰其数年的肺病，年尽46岁。他的代表作《动物庄园》和《一九八四》是反极权主义的经典名著。

总体来说还是不错的，之前买了全英文版的，很想读读英文版的，希望能够硬着头皮看到前二十页，希望看完后能慢慢适应。书本感觉还行，因为买了一整套，整套里面有些纸张有些不好，还是参杂了瑕疵物。
