書印刷很好，狠下心來把三本都買迴來瞭。其他沒話說，就是價格有點小貴。

本片背景是在神秘的史前時代，由一場正邪戰役所引發的長篇故事，這個拯救人類的危險任務落在年輕的哈比族人─佛羅多巴金身上，他從錶哥巴伯那裏得到瞭一指無邪的魔幻戒指。

其實本來並沒有想買這個五十周年紀念精裝版的，因為我的目標是買那個One Volume Deluxe版，但是後來想到那本那麼厚，而且又貴，萬一翻壞瞭該多心疼。於是決定同時也入手這個版本。事實證明這個版本還是相當的贊，鎖綫膠裝，而且印刷質量也是相當的好，大愛L.E.G.O啊（最新的Clays真心不咋地，The Legend of Siguard & Gudrun那麼厚一本精裝版居然就給我來個膠裝，連鎖綫都木有）另外這個版本還附瞭兩張摺頁的地圖，總之和這個價格相比，簡直太贊瞭。隻不過因為我買的太晚瞭，到手的這本書已經是第五版瞭，而且京東上第一本已經沒貨，第二本壓根就沒進，這是要逼我去國外買咩？另外，不知道這本書的封底設計師怎麼想的，居然弄成白色的，送來的時候簡直一幅中國水墨畫，我用橡皮塗瞭半天纔能見人，好端端一個繪圖橡皮被吃掉五分之一，而且放在書櫃裏的話還是能看到封底的白色。還有就是，這個五十周年版齣的The Lord of the Rings三本、The Hobbit、The Silmarillion還有Unfinished

新西蘭的無限風光使得《魔戒》劇組能夠在影片中重現托爾金在書中描寫的每一種景色。當然，劇組也嚮新西蘭當地的毛利族人做瞭一些妥協，有那麼一些地區，是嚴禁拍攝的，同時，為盡可能地保護野外植物的生命不被破壞，劇組人員在所到之處都鋪下瞭巨大的地毯。特技

雙塔是哪兩塔？既然《魔戒Ⅱ》又名為《魔戒之雙塔奇兵》，觀眾自然想知道這雙塔是指什麼。事實上，雙塔指的是“Orthanc”與“Cirith Ungol”。“Orthanc”是甘道夫被Saruman囚禁的城堡；“Cirith Ungol”是大蜘蛛“Shelob”的地盤。戲中的各種場景充分顯示瞭《魔戒Ⅱ》在視覺效果上下的功夫。在《魔戒Ⅱ》中，護戒使者們穿越瞭中土世界的許多地區，它們包括：伊敏·穆爾(Emyn Muil)、羅安平原(Rohan Plains)、伊多拉(Edoras，羅安的首都)、梵貢森林(Fangorn Forest)、索龍堡壘(Barad-Dur)、死亡沼澤(Dead Marshes)、伊森戈德(Isengard)、莫德之黑色大門(Black Gates of Mordor)、舵之深淵(Helm„s Deep)

於是，他獨有的性格決定瞭他要去發現霍比特到底是什麼東西，他們的生活的洞到底是怎麼樣的，為什麼要生活在洞裏等等問題。一九三六年，女兒蘇珊看到瞭他的一份未完成的手稿，她要托爾金寫完它，並把它交給瞭齣版社編輯史坦利·尤溫。後者讓十歲的大兒子去讀，以觀效果。反映齣奇的好，於是《霍比特人》(The Hobbits)在一九三七年齣版瞭，立即獲得成功，至今仍然在兒童推薦書目名單上。史坦利問托爾金還有沒有類似的書稿。於是托爾金把一些傳說體裁的故事《精靈寶鑽》(The Simarillion)交給瞭史坦利，但讀者的反應並不好。史坦利認為它不具備商業齣版價值，便委婉地嚮托爾金轉達瞭這一信息，要求他再寫一部《霍比特人》的續集。但後來的創作證明有違初衷，這部作品很難再說是兒童讀物瞭。這部“續集”就是《魔戒》。
