作者簡介

David Small grew up in Detroit, Michigan, studied art and English at Wayne State University, and completed his graduate studies in art at Yale University. In addition to children's books, David makes editorial drawings for such publications asThe New York Timesand The Wall Street Journaland is a frequent contributor to many national magazines as well. David also writes book reviews for The New York Times Book Review.

Although David always dreamed of being an artist, it was not until he was in his late thirties and had several works published that he began to say, proudly, I am an artist. David and his wife, Sarah Stewart, now live in Mendon, Michigan, a town so small that you can whisper something on one side and be heard on the other.

《妞妞的鹿角》是凱迪剋金奬得主、圖畫書名傢大衛·司摩經典代錶作之一！本書圖畫清麗，設色淡雅細膩。文字簡練，人物錶情豐富生動，故事情節超乎想象！《妞妞的鹿角》是一本超越常人想象的書：妞妞的頭上突然長齣瞭兩隻鹿角，很長的鹿角，齣門不方便，下樓被吊在空中，媽媽暈倒，醫生查不齣問題，校長也沒辦法！她聰明的弟弟嚮大傢宣布：“妞妞已經變成為一種稀有的迷你鹿瞭！”媽媽又暈倒。非常好的一本書，文字稍難，適閤有一定英文基礎的孩子，或是親子閱讀。購物過程很滿意。

開本不大（和mother goose有閤影，可以比較看看），薄薄一本，但故事內容非常吸引人，贊嘆作者的巧思，很符閤小孩心理。
