内容简介

The Curious About Phonics Learn-to-Read program can help your child master the basic phonics skills that are the building blocks for a lifetime of reading and learning. These twelve books introduce a carefully selected progression of letter sounds; there are repeated examples of the sounds being focused on, and high-frequency words (the, and) are called out, as are challenge words (rabbit, pancake). Challenge words are always referenced in the art. Also included with the set is a handy parent guide.

作者简介

Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his free time in that city's famous Hagenbeck Zoo drawing animals. After serving in the army during World War I, he studied philology and natural science at the University of Hamburg. He then married Margret Rey and they moved to Montmartre for four years. The manuscript for the first Curious George books was one of the few items the Reys carried with them on their bicycles when they escaped from Paris in 1940. Eventually, they made their way to the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941. Curious George has been published in many languages, including French, German, Japanese, Afrikaans, and Norwegian. Additional Curious George books followed, as well as such other favorites as CECILY G. AND THE NINE MONKEYS and FIND THE CONSTELLATIONS.

额，以为是跟那些故事差不多的只是改些词成为phonics版，结果没啥故事情节啊

给小小孩看非常好。有些人又会评价说字数少啊，性价比不高啊之类的，可是我想说，给孩子买书，最重要是合适，这本书给两岁左右的小孩子翻翻，正好，太难的，如容易吸引孩子。

1898年9月16日，汉斯·奥古斯都·雷(Hans Augusto Rey)在德国汉堡出生，从小就对动物和绘画感兴趣。1906年5月16日，玛格丽特·伊丽莎白·华尔斯坦(Margarete Elizabeth Waldstein)也出生在汉堡，热衷艺术的她后来进入了著名的包豪斯学院。某天，汉斯前去拜访玛格丽特的父亲时，看到了从楼梯扶手上滑下的女孩。参加过第一次世界大战之后，汉斯在去巴西之前曾为当地马戏团绘制图画说明。穿越亚马逊河时，汉斯对岸边丛林中活泼的猴子产生了浓厚兴趣。在里约热内卢打理家庭生意时，汉斯发现玛格丽特也为躲避纳粹而来到了巴西，1935年8月16日，两人喜结连理，喜爱动物的他们养了两只狨猴当宠物。
