事故发生的村落像中国现在无数乡村一样,处于一种血被抽干的乏力状态,缺乏生机,无能为力。青壮年都进城了,剩下相依为命的老人和孩子。道路年久失修,无人管无人问,日子凑合能过,也就行了。那段出事的路面已经塌陷了两年多,一旁是涵洞,村民鱼塘用来放水而开掘的,时日久了,流水带走泥沙,造成路面地基松垮,事故已经发生过好多次,只是没出人命。只看网络报道,我们不会注意到,这次事件正好发生在平安夜那天,这次悲剧的直接原因,是村里的基督教徒为了行善,找人用卵石和沙子将路铺平,那样的路面情况让第二天原本开车技术就不行的幼儿园园长兼司机打了滑,一下栽进路旁的水中,按说水很浅,但救援的人迟迟未到,最终酿成惨剧。救援的人为什么没有及时赶到,又回到那个老话题,村里剩下的,只是些活动迟缓的老人而已。
