一直以來都很喜歡讀濛田的作品。耐讀，風格也很平易近人，如同他的性情一樣。他是個心態很平和的人，生活作風也很低調，但這並不能說他缺乏個性。他的作品不多，隻有三本《濛田隨筆》，如果你不停地讀，隻需一兩個星期，就可以把它讀完。讀完一遍後，你可能還想再細細品味一下，之後，你可能會明白我喜歡它的原因。

這部作品捲帙浩繁，用古法文寫成，又引用瞭希臘、意大利等國的語言，以及大量拉丁語，因此翻譯難度相當大。本書積纍瞭組譯齣版《追憶似水年華》的成功經驗，采用瞭濛田死後於１５９５年經過增訂的定本，於１９９３年開始組譯，曆經四年之久，分成三捲一次推齣。這是濛田隨筆的第一個全譯本，參與該書的譯者都是研究和翻譯法國文學富有經驗的學者，為譯齣濛田隨筆特有的思想火花和語言魅力，各位譯者都付齣瞭巨大的努力，翻譯態度是極為嚴謹的，讀者可以從中真實地窺見到濛田的思想、風格及他所生活的時代的風俗民情濛田在文中論述的有些觀點也許未必正確，但讀者可以從隨筆的總體上吸收他的思想和藝術精華，並收到啓智怡情的功效。

英文倒是不難，就是人名太多，又沒注解，讀著莫名其妙的。京東現在評價奬勵豆子，所以想怎麼評就怎麼評吧，盡量簡短些。否則，為瞭積分粘貼粘貼再粘貼，弄的評價跟裹腳布似的，用手機選購的話，怎一個煩字瞭得！
