而讀濛田的書,按我的理解,他的思想以溫柔敦厚為教化,以中庸為和尚。與其他哲學傢不同,懷疑論在他思想中不過是看問題的一個齣發點。他懷疑的是教條,是俗世的偏見,是極端的狂熱,是對一切言之有理的事情做一番懷疑。但他不是徹底的懷疑論者,用他的話說:“徹底的懷疑論者容易對世事失去瞭信心與恒力。”

離傢時從父親書房裏悄悄帶走的不僅是現金,還有一個舊的金製小打火機(款式和重量正閤我意),一把尖頭鋒利的摺疊刀。刀是用來剝鹿皮的,往手心裏一放沉甸甸的,刀身有十二厘米長,大概是在外國旅行時買的紀念品。另外還拿瞭桌子抽屜裏一個袖珍強光手電筒。太陽鏡也是需要的,深天藍色的,要用來遮掩年齡。

  讀到這樣的字句,頗讓人感動。感動之餘,又啓發讓我們重新思索人生的意義,更加堅定我們對美好事物的追求,拋卻一些繁文縟節和一些不必要的奢望。活得輕鬆一些,自由一些。

  我覺得十五歲生日是最適閤離傢齣走的時間。這以前過早,以後又太晚。

  他引用古希臘哲學傢剋裏西波斯和第歐根尼的話說,在所有的快樂中,最危險、最應該避免的莫過於彆人的贊揚給我們帶來的快樂。而且這些哲學傢更加確切地說,即使能得到世界上所有的榮譽,有頭腦的人也不值得嚮它伸齣一個手指。
