"I became an author-illustrator when I was nineteen years old. I flew from my home in Racine, Wisconsin, to New York City with my portfolio, hoping to find a publisher. 看完很多東西真的是有點豁然開朗的感覺,書看來真的是個好東西,迷茫的時候可以給你指路,心情不好的時候可以給你樂趣,喪氣的時候可以給你鼓勵.

有時候孩子會要求先看動畫後讀，我也不勉強，先看後讀要多讀一本書，讓孩子自己選擇。有時候孩子會看到緊要關頭難以自拔，要多看一集動畫，我也不勉強，隻要孩子用閱讀補償。讓孩子自己體會付齣與迴報，學習判讀與抉擇。
