內容簡介

A wonderful story about the meaning of loneliness and the importance of friendship. There once was a boy! and one day a penguin arrives on his doorstep. The boy decides the penguin must be lost and tries to return him. But no one seems to be missing a penguin. So the boy decides to take the penguin home himself, and they set out in his row boat on a journey to the South Pole. But when they get there, the boy discovers that maybe home wasn't what the penguin was looking for after all!

作者簡介

Oliver is a fresh new talent in picture books. He graduated from The University of Ulster in 2001 with First Class honours and has since exhibited his paintings around the world. He works as a freelance illustrator and this is his second picture book project.

傢裏有男孩子一枚，馬上快6歲瞭，大慨一年多以前開始瞭英語的啓濛，主要是聽原版兒歌，看原汁原味的分級讀物和繪本，到目前為止，非常喜歡英文，喜歡聽喜歡看。小孩子學英語主要就是興趣，再有就是傢長的堅持，不能求快，隻能一味灌輸，總有一天會有收獲的。
